Devlog-02


Hi,  

It's been a couple of months since I wrote the first devlog here. This time I'm back with tonnes of fixed bugs and improvements!   Now you can progress the game in 2x speed. It was very easy to implement in unity. I got some problems with other scenes when I set the timeScale to 0, though. So I've found that timeScale doesn't reset on scene change, instead, it persists between scenes.  Other improvements were mostly cosmetic looking, bug fixing but most importantly balancing difficulty progression and income amount. I don't like the clicking hell style games(annoying sometimes). So this is why skill key factor in here. You should invest your skills carefully to achieve speedy and powerful tower.  Village Defence is far beyond complete from where I thought started with but I decided to make available in mobile as well and let users decide it to ahead.

I think the community-driven development is a "must" culture but I couldn't involved it too much. I guess it requires more social activity than here in itch.io. For the next project that I will start, I'll try to make it more social available and active. That is the ultimate lesson I've learned from this project. 

And I'd like to ask you as developers, how you're handling the socially active on development process? As a one-man-dev, I need to learn that kind of community building.
